It all depends on which anime and genre. Most of the time anime, but in certain situations manga can be much much better.

tehe, it's good for your reading skills and keeps your brain active + the art is very pretty and the story is usually very good + anime usually comes from the manga i.e. manga = original to the max (:

Ya, most times manga > anime, but anime is up there to the point it becomes > manga certain times for certain animes. As, justinswood and all have sorta basically said all based on the manga, anime, and genre of them. In some the anime is better, some the manga is better, and some both are great

I prefer Anime by far, but i do refer to the manga sometimes when the anime is taking 2 long to come out, like bleach right now =D

Meh, it's really hard to say. See, short anime's that are like 12-24 episodes are worth watching since they hardly have any fillers in them (mist of the time tho). The inexplicably long one like Bleach or Naruto should be read in manga since FILLERSWTFDIE!! are all over the place...sad T_____T

But I'd read manga anyday over anime if you give I have the printed version <---'cuz I'm too lazy to read from the PC

Manga, ofc, I want to know the almost original story... I Read Light Novels too if I have to, for the sake of the story... But I turn on the Anime for the Lolz...

More complex plots - prefer manga
